EXECUTIVE BIOGRAPHY

Dr. ​Tennin ("Dr. K") is the Chair of the Board, President, and Global CEO of her own global conglomerate corporation (31 locations, 24 countries, on 6 continents, with 2 world headquarters) with the main enterprise being an organizational development consultancy to help businesses recover, grow, expand, and/or advance.  From start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations.  Dr. Tennin is a decedent of generations of farmers and fisherman who sold their products locally and she is an appointed World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) World Leader, ex-Senator for the United States of America; chaired by Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. In this role she attends World Congresses, General Assemblies, and sits among Kings, Queens, Presidents of Nations, Heads of Banks, Prime Ministers, High Commissioners, and Chambers of Commerce and other business leaders to strategize and make business decisions to help businesses start-up, advance, and/or scale with financial inclusion by gaining access to capital, improving economic development, promoting social justice, and creating jobs.  The WBAF is an affiliated partner of the legendary G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI).

 

Further, after four months Dr. Tennin was promoted to Executive Council, Co-Board Leader, and Board Member of the WBAF Global Women Leader’s committee (GWLC) for the entire organization, Chaired by Madame President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, in addition to being a committee member of the GWLC and President of the GWLC “Action Committees” to accomplish the Action Items of (1) Facilitate Connections by Increasing Access to Global Business Networks and (2) Provide Access to Smart Finance (work with funds/angel networks, globally), for women entrepreneurs. For the USA country office, Dr. Tennin is a member of the (1) Academic Committee and s under nomination for (2) the USA country office advisory board (2022-2023) to advise on country office, academic, finance and banking, and women's issues and entrepreneurship committees direction. This includes investments and licensing.

Further, Dr. Tennin is known for being detailed, operates in integrity and excellence, and follows a personal mission statement of “to use my gift of leadership to serve as a determined and dependable leader who shows equality and compassion to others around the world, especially women and girls”.  Likewise, Dr. Tennin has over 20 years of experience within her industry and 16-years of experience leading her own global conglomerate firm, with early beginnings in 1998, working with Fortune 500, 100 and 1000 companies as the firms’ global corporate clients, such as: Procter & Gamble, Macy's, L’Oréal International, belk department stores, Kmart, and foreign governments, and registered diverse supplier for corporations like Coty, Inc., Kohl’s, Nordstrom department stores, Johnson and Johnson, The Limited Brands, The Coca-Cola Company, airlines and airports, municipalities in distinguished nations, and so on.

Additionally, Dr. Tennin has a high interest in consumer product development of natural/green/organic products using natural sciences, botanicals, spices, and food (e.g. vitamins). Her value proposition is deep expertise in organizational infrastructure and business administration-executive office to solve business architecture and administration complexities with an objective of resurrecting financial and operational output to accomplish profitable and sustainable growth.  Also, Dr. Tennin completed her social sciences practitioner doctorate of Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership (DM) at the University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies, graduated Summa Cum Laude, Top of Class, with Honors(Hons). She studied non-profit management for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) research doctorate credits from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota in Non-Profit Leadership with a concentration on Boards, CEO's, and Board Governance, holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Women's Studies with minors in Biology (Pre-Medicine studies in preparation for OB/GYN, Medical Doctorate (MD)) and Conflict Resolution studies from private institution Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and possess experience and knowledge in global intellectual property, reputational issues, various corporate environments, leadership, sales, organizational diagnosis and intervention, research, banking, regulations, credit, strategy, innovation, marketing, analyses, and assessments.  Dr. Tennin possess continuing education experience at IE Business School Madrid Spain, Yale University, University of Cape Town South Africa, Harvard Law School, University of Southampton Glasglow, and even University of Virginia Darden School of Business.  She holds strategy, technology/digital, project planning and innovation, and management and data analytics consulting certifications from KPMG Australia, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Australia, ACCENTURE, and Deloitte, and readily works on special projects for EY! and McKinsey and Co., as a key executive and global advisor.

Prior to launching her own main enterprise, Dr. Tennin worked in operations and finance at SunTrust Banks, Inc., US Bank, Wells Fargo Financial, and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. assisting automotive dealerships, salons, medical clinics, small business, consumers, and more with affiliate global relationships with Wells Fargo Financial, Wells Fargo Auto Finance, Wells Fargo Card Services, Wells Fargo Business Banking, Wells Fargo Investments, Wells Fargo Education, and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. As a further exemplar, she assisted with the launch of Wells Fargo Bank locations in fourteen southern states (M&A)), was a high-performer, top sales employee, received various awards, and scored over 95%, consistently, on quality assurance.  As a fun fact, did you know there is a Wells Fargo Bank ATM located on the North Pole at McMurdo Station, operated by the locals?  Equally, in the very early days of Dr. Tennin's career, she serviced and operated ATM machines, digitally, nationwide in the USA, for US Bank Corporation.  Inclusive, she has worked with Board of Directors in 2 private, 1 public, and 4 nonprofit corporations. She is a recipient of over 30 organizational awards from health care, academic institutions, nonprofits, and financial services industry organizations. Further, Dr. Tennin continues practitioner scholarship at global conferences. Collectively, based on Dr. Tennin's experiences over time and presently utilizing all of her experiences in professional practice, she can be categorized as a management, organizational development, business, human resources, financial services, financial education, change management, and higher education consultant, in addition to running her own global conglomerate corporation.

Moreover, with proven experience and national awards, Dr. Tennin has volunteered with over 20 organizations and participated in as a speaker and assisted with creating leadership conferences, workshops, entrepreneur and career symposium panels, mentoring and coaching at the University of Phoenix to teach current students and alumni about starting a business (whether for-profit or non-profit), writing a business plan, investor pitches, venture capital, foreign entities, business proposals, and grant writing.  Dr. Tennin has also served on several Boards of Directors to conceptualize committees, approve budgets, and establish objectives and policies, and is a member of nine investment firms, reviewing business plans, project financials, and pitches for start-up enterprises regularly. And she currently writes business, management, leadership, and entrepreneurship curriculum on a project and consulting basis for Western Governor's University under the corporation Ms. Kyla Latrice, Inc., doing business as Dr. Kyla Latrice.
